Pop up cards are now well established in this country. This one features the legend ' thanks for always being there' in brown capitals , large solid font, on a cream background. The card weight is good and the envelope provided decent. On opening the card, what pops up is two soiled hands over an open nappy (thus the Mother's/ Father's day suggestion). I suspect it aims to be shockingly funny rather than, in an sense, whimsical. It takes a little while to get what the pop up image in front of you actually is and the pop up doesn't actually pop up much, so I suspect, more work on the interior design is needed.
Grabbed this on a bit of a whim after seeing a Facebook ad as my wife and I were having a bit of a mare with the new baby. It arrived quickly and worked exactly as I hoped - by making her smile. Was easily able to add a little note inside to remind her that our little sh *t is worth it. The pop-up detail is good and worked perfectly as my 'thanks Mum/new parent card'. The price is high though but to be honest everything seems high these days and this card worked a treat.
I usually get bored quickly buying a card because they’re all the same cheesy nonsense. These are completely different - funny, and yes, bit unhinged but brilliant quality and my Mum enjoyed it
